Anglican politics being what it is, it is probably not every day you can hear the views of a high-profile Evangelical bishop cited with approval by an Anglo-Catholic monk. So if Michael Nazir-Ali is getting this kind of accolade, as he did in the sermon I heard at High Mass this morning, it mght suggest that he's on to something.
As also might today's news. Two reasons for British Muslims to view their fellow-countrypeople with contempt, one of them (at least) also a reason why normal people are voting BNP. Or, is this why we believe in ourselves so little that we allow this to happen?
